Your Guide Through Unemployment is seeking enthusiastic guest writers or bloggers who are interested in sharing their valued perspectives on issues relating to; unemployment, entrepreneurship, career development, employment opportunities, and workplace politics.

WRITING & SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

  1. Submitted posts should be between 250- 500 words (Word doc.) and directed to us at yourguidethroughunemployment@gmail.com bearing the title of said within the subject line, for example, ‘Guest Post:  Crackin’ glass ceilings!
  2. It is important that posts contain appropriate and credible internal and external links and be void of plagiarism.
  3. Posts should seek to lend practical advice and guidance, recall personal/ professional experiences and restore courage and drive within readers.
  4. Employ the use of ‘attention-grabbing’ headlines/ titles, for example, ‘Bitchy Boss’.
  5. Your fabulous headshot (no selfies!) along with a succinct and interesting bio (3- 4 sentences) must be submitted along with your first post. Bios may also contain links to other platforms housing your artistic work.
  6. Subsequent to submission, posts will be reviewed and edited before being published at www.yourguidethroughunemployment.com.
  7. Published posts will be featured on our social media platforms where you will get a chance to respond to questions posed, comment, share, retweet, tag friends and family, and like!
