WRITING & SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
- Submitted posts should be between 250- 500 words (Word doc.) and directed to us at yourguidethroughunemployment@gmail.com bearing the title of said within the subject line, for example, ‘Guest Post: Crackin’ glass ceilings!’
- It is important that posts contain appropriate and credible internal and external links and be void of plagiarism.
- Posts should seek to lend practical advice and guidance, recall personal/ professional experiences and restore courage and drive within readers.
- Employ the use of ‘attention-grabbing’ headlines/ titles, for example, ‘Bitchy Boss’.
- Your fabulous headshot (no selfies!) along with a succinct and interesting bio (3- 4 sentences) must be submitted along with your first post. Bios may also contain links to other platforms housing your artistic work.
- Subsequent to submission, posts will be reviewed and edited before being published at www.yourguidethroughunemployment.com.
- Published posts will be featured on our social media platforms where you will get a chance to respond to questions posed, comment, share, retweet, tag friends and family, and like!
